Schema markup is structured data that introduces your page’s content to search engines in a machine-readable format; when implemented correctly, it opens the door to rich results such as star ratings, FAQ boxes, price information, and event cards. According to one study, pages with structured data have an average SERP click-through rate that is 20–30% higher than standard listings. SEOYEN’s AI-powered Schema Markup Generator tool analyzes your page, selects the appropriate schema type, generates the JSON-LD code, and applies it to your WordPress site with a single click.
What Is a Schema Markup Generator?
A schema markup generator is an AI tool that creates structured data code in JSON-LD format appropriate for a web page. Based on Schema.org standards, this code helps Google, Bing, and other search engines understand the page more accurately and present it with rich snippets. Since JSON-LD can be added to the <head> section without modifying the page code, it is the safest and most recommended format.
Writing schema markup requires familiarity with Schema.org documentation, knowledge of JSON syntax, and correctly mapping the page content to the right type. For a product page, a Product + Offer + AggregateRating combination is the right choice; for a blog post, Article + Author + BreadcrumbList; and for a local business, LocalBusiness + OpeningHoursSpecification. Writing these combinations incorrectly can cause Google not to show rich results or even apply penalties.
SEOYEN’s tool analyzes the page URL to automatically detect the content type, recommends the most suitable schema types, fills in all required fields, and generates JSON-LD output that complies with Google’s Rich Results Test standard. The output can be injected directly into your WordPress page.
Features and Usage
- 7 Core Schema Types: Article, Product, FAQ, HowTo, LocalBusiness, Event, and Recipe schemas are generated with full field support; other types can be used in custom request mode.
- Automatic Content Type Detection: When you enter a page URL, the tool analyzes the title, structure, and content to recommend the most suitable schema type; you simply confirm it.
- JSON-LD Preview: The generated code is displayed in a color-coded editor; you can edit any field after generation.
- Google Rich Results Validation: The generated code is analyzed according to Google’s Rich Results Test rules; if there is a warning or error, it is shown together with a suggested fix.
- WordPress Automatic Injection: If the SEOYEN plugin is installed, approved JSON-LD code is automatically added to the page’s <head> section; there is no risk of theme or plugin conflicts.
- Multiple Schema Merging: If a page requires more than one schema type (for example, Article + FAQPage), combined JSON-LD is generated using the @graph structure.
- Automatic FAQ Extraction: When question-and-answer structures are detected on the page, questions and answers are automatically filled in for FAQPage schema.
- Turkish Content Compatibility: All text fields (name, description, author, address) are filled in Turkish; ISO 8601 date and phone formats are adjusted according to Turkish standards.

Why SEOYEN?
Semrush and other standalone schema tools do not directly connect the code they generate to your site’s search performance. With SEOYEN, however, you can track the position of the page where you applied schema in Rank Tracking and monitor its SERP results to see whether you are earning rich snippets and keep your click-through rate under control.
WordPress plugins like Schema Pro and RankMath are effective at adding schema, but you still have to decide which schema to add. SEOYEN analyzes the page content and uses AI to determine which schema type has the greatest potential to generate more rich snippets; this makes the decision data-driven rather than intuitive.
For the LocalBusiness schema, which is critical for local SEO in Turkish, address, phone, and business hours fields are automatically filled in Turkish format; this prevents validation errors caused by manual formatting mistakes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does adding schema markup guarantee rankings?
No. Schema markup is not a direct ranking factor; however, by helping you earn rich results, it can indirectly improve rankings through a higher CTR. For Google to interpret structured data, the page must first be indexed and the content quality must be sufficient.
Should I use JSON-LD, Microdata, or RDFa?
Google has clearly stated that it prefers and recommends the JSON-LD format. Instead of being embedded into the HTML, JSON-LD is added as a separate block with a <script> tag; this means it does not disrupt the existing HTML structure and is easy to maintain. SEOYEN generates JSON-LD only.
What should I do if Yoast or RankMath already adds schema?
Yoast and RankMath automatically add basic Article, BreadcrumbList, and WebPage schemas. The schema generated by SEOYEN complements or customizes this foundational layer; to prevent duplicate additions of the same schema type, the SEOYEN plugin detects conflicts and warns you.
Is FAQPage schema always shown as a snippet on Google?
No, Google displays FAQPage rich results algorithmically; even if all requirements are met, it may still not be shown. In 2023, Google limited FAQPage visibility to news sites and government pages; on general content sites, visibility is less common than before. Even so, adding the schema does no harm.
How can I get the generated schema code to pass Google’s Rich Results Test?
SEOYEN runs the generated JSON-LD through its internal validator and checks Google’s required and recommended fields. If there is any warning or error, it explains the cause and how to fix it. Before deployment, we recommend validating it with Google’s own Rich Results Test tool (search.google.com/test/rich-results).
