Is your site currently accessible? When will your SSL certificate expire? Is the redirect from HTTP to HTTPS working? You do not need to ask yourself these questions manually — SEOYEN Site Monitor watches your site 24/7, notifies you by email the moment an issue occurs, and reports your site’s availability history in detail. The basic requirement for protecting search engine rankings is ensuring that your site is accessible at all times.
What Is Site Monitor?
Website uptime monitoring (site availability tracking) is a service that checks at regular intervals whether a website is continuously accessible and reports possible outages in real time. SEOYEN Site Monitor periodically measures your site’s availability, the validity period of its SSL certificate, whether the redirect from HTTP to HTTPS is working properly, and page response time. Functioning similarly to UptimeRobot or Pingdom, this tool works in integration with SEOYEN’s other SEO tools so you can view your site’s overall health holistically.
Why Is It Important for SEO?
When your site is offline, Googlebot cannot reach your page. Short outages generally do not cause ranking loss; however, repeated or long-lasting outages can lead Google to assess your site as less reliable. In addition, expired SSL certificates cause browsers to display a “not secure site” warning — which means users leave your page and therefore a high bounce rate. Site Monitor enables you to catch these critical issues proactively.
How Does It Work?
- Continuous Monitoring: SEOYEN checks your site at regular intervals. Each check measures whether your site is responding via an HTTP GET request.
- Status Code Tracking: The HTTP status code returned by the server is recorded. If 500, 503, or a connection error is received instead of 200 (successful), it is marked as an outage.
- SSL Certificate Tracking: The expiration date of your SSL certificate is monitored. Warning notifications are sent 30, 14, and 7 days before it expires.
- HTTP → HTTPS Redirect Check: Whether the HTTP version is automatically redirected to HTTPS is checked at regular intervals.
- Response Time Measurement: During each check, the server’s response time is recorded in milliseconds and the trend over time is monitored.
- Instant Notifications: When an outage, SSL issue, or redirect error is detected, an immediate notification is sent to the registered email address. When the issue is resolved, a “site is accessible again” notification is also sent.
- Availability Report: Your site’s uptime percentage for a given period (e.g. 99.8%), total outage duration, and number of outages are reported.
Monitored Metrics
- Uptime percentage: Availability rate for the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days
- Number of outages and total duration: The start time, end time, and total number of minutes of each outage
- Average response time: Time-series graph of server response time
- SSL certificate information: Issuing authority, validity start and end dates, number of days remaining
- HTTP → HTTPS redirect status: Active / Inactive / Chained
Who Should Use It?
- E-commerce site owners: Every minute of downtime means lost revenue. Fast notifications minimize response time.
- Enterprise companies: To monitor website availability for brand reputation and meet SLA requirements.
- SEO agencies: To proactively monitor downtime and SSL issues on client sites and improve client satisfaction. All client sites can be monitored from a single panel.
- Blog and content sites: To monitor hosting reliability and verify whether the site stays up during critical content updates.
- Startups and new ventures: To benefit from site monitoring within a SEOYEN subscription without having to pay for a separate uptime monitoring tool.

Why SEOYEN?
- Turkish Interface: Outage notifications and reports are delivered in Turkish. Instead of “Downtime alert,” you receive clear Turkish notifications like “Your site is inaccessible.”
- Affordable Pricing: Instead of subscribing separately to UptimeRobot or Pingdom, you use the site monitoring feature included in your SEOYEN subscription. While Semrush at $139/month (~4.500₺) does not offer uptime monitoring, SEOYEN offers this feature starting at 990₺.
- Integrated Platform: When your site experiences an outage, you can also see what audit issues currently exist in SEOYEN at the same time. Uptime monitoring, SEO auditing, and content tools are under one roof.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly are notifications sent?
When your site becomes inaccessible, this is detected in the next check cycle and an email notification is sent immediately. Notification delay depends on your check interval.
Can I monitor more than one site?
Yes. Separate monitoring can be set up for each project (website) registered in SEOYEN. The Individual plan can monitor 5 projects, the Pro plan 20 projects, and the Enterprise plan unlimited projects.
How many days before expiration will I receive an SSL certificate warning?
You receive email warnings when your SSL certificate has 30, 14, and 7 days remaining before expiration. This eliminates the risk of leaving certificate renewal until the last day.
Does high response time also trigger an alert?
Yes. If the response time exceeds a certain threshold, an alert is sent. This threshold can be adjusted to proactively catch issues such as server overload or a database problem before they turn into a full outage.
